impatience is not a virtue?

I am extremely impatient. I have applied to two dozen jobs but, as luck would have it, I am jobless while all companies are shut down for two weeks. So I am stuck waiting until January 3rd before someone will even *maybe* look at my resume. I am really hoping to be back in a job by January 31. That's my goal. I drove by Stewarts yesterday (Albany version of 7-11) and they were hiring. It's sad that that seems like a good option. Okay will it isn't really an option...I'm not that desperate...yet.
