September is my favorite month

The weather is perfect. The sky is clear. The leaves are starting to suggest Fall. The air conditioning is off for another year and the windows are open creating the perfect sleeping and snuggling environment. The day after Labor Day is probably my favorite of the year because it gives me license to move on from the summer and embrace the fall. Today I'll start decorating with pumpkins and hay and gourds of all sizes. I'll add a little more each week and I'll leave every last decoration up until November 28. Although I must admit -- I cheated and put up a turkey yesterday. But he was too cute to leave in a box for another month...
